Our challenging Grand Island golf course underwent some renovations during 1997. The dogleg fairways are quite difficult on this course, but some are wide open. Our Grand Island golf course has some young trees lining its fairways. The average-sized greens feature some undulation. The signature hole is #14, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a horseshoe island green surrounded by the J. Frank Powl Lake. There is also water that comes into play on holes #6 and #7, both par 4′s.
