THANKS FOR PLAYING!

We here at Indianhead want to do all that we can to protect our staff as well as our customers. With that being said, we will remain OPEN as of April 28th, 2020 (weather permitting) with some changes being made to how we operate our course.

Our club house will be CLOSED until further notice with the only exception being to use the restroom, 2 people at a time. On course bathrooms will be CLOSED. Check-in will be done through our Pro-shop window ONLY, with the preferred method of payment being a card as to minimize contact between individuals (cash still accepted). We Encourage everyone coming out to wear masks, especially when interacting with our staff. You may also purchase balls, clubs, etc. through the window. We are moving to a TEE TIME ONLY system with no walk ons allowed.  We are still allowing carts to be taken out, but they will be sanitized between uses every time as well as our push carts. Driving range will remain OPEN, but we will allow no more than 8 people on the range at a time.

We will only be allowing singles to golf after 4:00 P.M. on Monday, before 10:00 A.M. and after 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday through Thursday, and only after 5:00 P.M. on weekends. Singles must call the clubhouse to be booked.

Our Leagues will be starting up in May and as a result our driving range hours as well as tee time availability will change. There will be Tee Times available before and after leagues take off as all of our leagues are running by Tee Times. Our driving range hours will change as follows:

Monday- 12:00 P.M. – Dark

Tuesday- 8:00 A.M. – Dark

Wednesday- 8:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Thursday- 10:00 A.M. – Dark

Friday-Sunday- 7:00 A.M. – Dark

We will no longer be using reusable coolers on the course and will instead use disposable plastic bags unless you bring your own cooler. We are currently only selling prepackaged food, drinks, and fountain drinks with lids.

We appreciate your patience in this uncertain time and will do our best to continue to update you with any new information we have here on our website.

Rediscover Your Love of Golf at Indianhead Golf Club

Indianhead Golf Club was originally built in 1990.

This 18-hole, 160 acre course is a true golf destination of Nebraska. This challenging yet relaxing course provides just a few reasons to visit.

Along with this superb course, Indianhead offers a state-of-the-art practice and teaching facility with a world-class golf shop that is always fully stocked. Amenities such as club rental, club fittings, re-gripping, lessons by our head professional and more. Our facility is open to the public year-round, weather permitting. The course includes golf cart rental, pull cart rental, driving and chipping range, as well as a chipping area and practice bunker. We do ask that cut offs are not worn on the course. Course tee times are permitted 7 days in advance.

The Club is very proud of its Golf Course team led by Thomas Jeffers, our head Golf Pro, who is a graduate of the University of Kearney. Tom leads his team with fun, passionate work that makes time spent here enjoyable.

Our one of a kind Superintendent, Kipp Smith, is winner of the Superintendent Of The Year in the state of Nebraska. Kipp and his team are passionate in their resolve to make sure that the course conditions are impressive and enjoyable every day.

Our challenging Grand Island golf course is open to the public. The dogleg fairways are quite difficult on this course, but some are wide open. Our golf course has some young trees lining its fairways. The average-sized greens feature some undulation. The signature hole is #14, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a horseshoe island green surrounded by the J. Frank Powl Lake. There is also water that comes into play on holes #6 and #7, both par 4′s.
